The Edible Garden Show has some fantastic features to visit during the show. We will soon be announcing our sponsors and just a flavour of what you can expect from the areas. Expert tips, help and advice, hand on activities too to help get ready, motivated and enthused for the forth coming growing season.
Experts from Lovethegarden.com provided useful tips and advice for successfully growing your own home produce, with practical gardening project information for both experienced and novice gardeners.
The Garden Store was the one-stop-shop for anyone wanting to Grow Their Own – having created a special ‘Grow Your Own’ store at the show providing visitors with a great range of products to help them plant and harvest home-grown produce.
Cono Sur Vineyards and Winery, presented an urban garden stand with the Seed Pantry to show visitors how to green up your urban spaces with delicious home- grown food and provided everything needed to get started.
The Potting Shed was a central area at the show in 2011 and was sponsored by the National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners. Features within the area included some fantastic 'hands-on' sessions as well as informative advice from The British Beekeepers Association and The Garden Store.
The National Society of Allotment and Leisure Gardeners has a total affiliated membership in excess of 122,000.
James will be inspiring visitors with 'Incredible Edibles' at the show in 2012 - his monthly column on our site shares planting tips, organic remedies and recipes.
Pippa is posting a tip each week in the run up to the show - covering planting advice, pests and seasonal jobs to do in the garden.
Rachel will be demonstrating a range of her signature dishes using local produce at the show and sharing seasonal recipes with us on our website.
