A variety of poultry breeds were on display at the show - with experts on hand to talk about keeping poultry at home and the kind of breeds that would be suitable for first time chicken keepers.

James will be inspiring visitors with 'Incredible Edibles' talks each day of the show - his monthly column on our site shares planting tips, organic remedies and recipes.

Celebrity gardener and best selling author Pippa Greenwood

Pippa is posting a tip each week in the run up to the show - covering planting advice, pests and seasonal jobs to do in the garden.
Tips and advice on keeping chickens

We are delighted that Victoria Roberts - premier backyard poultry vet - will bring along a range of poultry breeds to the show, visit her in the Smallholders Marquee.

Michelin star chef John Burton-Race

Hugely popular TV personality John Burton-Race will get taste buds tingling with inspiring recipes in the Cookery Theatre in association with Kerrygold and Pilgrims Choice.
Award-winning chef Rachel Green

Rachel will be demonstrating a range of her signature dishes using local produce at the show and sharing seasonal recipes with us on our website.

Resident expert Paul Peacock

Paul will be on hand in the run up to the show to answer all your grow your own questions. As well as offering seasonal growing tips and tasty recipes to try with your home grown produce.

Come and see a variety of different pig breeds in daily ring demonstrations and meet their breeders from the British Pig Association. Also meet the Junior Pig Club, staging their Pig Olympics.
