Jam Jar Shop has grown hugely since it's first tentative steps in Rosemary Jameson's garage and is now a fast growing internet based company, supplying over 2 million jars a year.

After retiring to the Countryside in Rutland, producing preserves seemed the perfect antidote to a hectic life, but unable to source reasonably priced, British made glass jars, importing from Belgium was the initial solution until starting the company in 2009.

A massive resurgence of "Grow your Own" and allotments has provided a market for Jam Jar Shop to fulfill their wish list with an extensive range of jars, equipment,lids,labels and gift packaging, purchasing either single jars and bottles, bargain boxes,through to the Artisan Range for the more serious producers.

Rosemary continues to produce preserves under her own label "Jam on the Hill" and is passionate about encouraging everyone to use local, or home grown fruits and vegetables, to produce preserves for themselves, not just for the economics, but also the pleasure it generates,both on the taste buds and also in giving and receiving hand-made gifts and keeping alive a wonderful British tradition.
