BPA (British Pig Association) the voice of the Small-scale breeder responsible for conserving our Native pig breeds for 125 years.

Come and see the different breeds and meet their breeders at the Edible Garden Show. Daily ring demonstrations "Starting with pigs" will provide valubable information for the would-be pig keeper, Also meet our Junior Pig Club, staging their Pig Olympics - all children welcome.

Breeds of pigs on display at The Edible Garden Show in 2012 will be: Landrace, Tamworth, Large Black, Middle White, Oxford Sandy & Black, Gloucestershire Old Spot, British Lop, Welsh, Large White & Berkshire.

What’s On

Botanist and presenter James Wong officially opened the show this year

James opened the show with help from injured servicemen and staff from Headley Court rehabilitation centre and gave talks across all 3 days in the Experts Theatre.

Plenty to see, try and buy at the show

The show bought together inspirational experts and innovative exhibitors to create a one-stop shop for a slice of the Good Life.
Expert tips and advice on poultry keeping

Various poultry breeds were on display in the Smallholders Marquee at the show and visitors could pick up tips on keeping and showing.

Michelin star chef John Burton-Race

John Burton-Race inspired visitors to get the best from their edible gardens in the Cookery Theatre in association with Kerrygold and Pilgrims Choice.
Visitors got to meet and greet goats

Visitors to the show learnt all about goats first hand in the Smallholders Marquee with a variety of breeds on display and milking demonstrations.

Celebrity gardener and best selling author Pippa Greenwood

Pippa Greenwood gave talks in both the Experts Theatre and Potting Shed at the show, inspiring visitors to grow great veg.
Award winning chef Rachel Green

Rachel Green demonstrated a range of her signature dishes using local produce in the Cookery Theatre at the show.

Have a go planting

The Potting Shed held potting parties where visitors could have a go at planting their own pots up to take home.
