Bees are the buzz word at The Edible Garden Show

The British Beekeepers AssociationDo you want to find out all there is to know about beekeeping?  If so, make a beeline for The Edible Garden Show!

Organisers of this great new national event – dedicated exclusively to ‘Grow Your Own’ fruit and vegetables and home produce – have linked up with the British Beekeepers Association whose experts will be giving demonstrations and advice on beekeeping on their stand. The British Beekeeping Association (BBKA) is a registered charity that works to promote bees and beekeeping with over 18,000 members in 65 associations around the UK.

Throughout all three days of The Edible Garden Show at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, from March 18-20 visitors can discover everything there is to know about the art of beekeeping.  BBKA experts will be supporting the beekeeping area where there will be observation hives, video presentations and literature available covering all aspects of beekeeping.

Would-be beekeepers can also find out what to do with the produce from those busy little bees with demonstrations including how to make beeswax candles, making ‘skep’ hives and honey extraction.

People wishing to visit this must-see event can take advantage of specially discounted tickets if they book now, whilst exhibitors can take advantage of up to 25% reductions on stand prices by booking their space early.

The Edible Garden Show 2011 promises to be an unforgettable occasion to meet the phenomenal public demand for home-grown produce and healthy eating.
