Delicious meals using home-grown ingredients will be whipped into culinary masterpieces at The Edible Garden Show 2013 thanks to hot new sponsor The Co-operative Membership.
The organisation, which represents millions of savvy shoppers, will be presenting The Cookery Theatre at the award-winning show when it returns to Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, from 15-17 March. The link-up is part of The Co-operative’s huge “here for you for life” drive to encourage self-sufficiency and a sustainable lifestyle – a perfect fusion with The Edible Garden Show’s passionate grow-your-own ideals.
The Co-operative Central & Eastern Region Membership is sponsoring The Cookery Theatre, where renowned TV chef Rachel Green will be among the talented cooks tantalising the taste buds with step-by-step guides to creating fabulous meals from plot to plate. The Cookery Theatre is just one of the great attractions at the UK’s only national event dedicated exclusively to grow-your-own and bursting with innovative products, top exhibitors and celebrity experts providing all you need to know about living the ‘Good Life’.
Popular Gardeners’ Question Time panellist Bob Flowerdew, BBC Gardeners’ World presenter Alys Fowler, TV botanist James Wong and resident grow-your-own guru Paul Peacock will share their passions for growing and eating home-grown produce at the show, which harvests a huge crop of top exhibitors and brings inspirational celebrity chefs and gardeners together under one roof.
