The Poultry Club of Great Britain has linked up with The Edible Garden Show to ensure visitors to this great new ‘Grow Your Own’ event can find out all there is to know about keeping chickens, bantams, geese, ducks and turkeys.

The Edible Garden Show 2011, staged at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire from March 18-20, is the first-ever national event dedicated exclusively to ‘Grow Your Own’ fruit and vegetables and home produce.

The Poultry Club of Great Britain will be supporting the chicken keeping area at the show with experts giving daily seminars offering advice on husbandry, breed selection and breeding and health issues.  In fact, everything you need to know about keeping poultry you can discover at the Edible Garden Show where a wide variety of different breeds of birds will be on display.

The Poultry Club, founded 1877, is a registered charity existing to safeguard the interests of all pure and traditional breeds of poultry including chickens, bantams, ducks, geese and turkeys. Guardians of the ‘British Poultry Standards’, the Club has a crucial role in safeguarding stock bloodlines which have been maintained for generations.

People wishing to visit this must-see event can take advantage of specially discounted tickets if they book now while exhibitors can take advantage of up to 25% reductions on stand prices by booking their space early.

The Edible Garden Show 2011 promises to be an unforgettable occasion to meet the phenomenal public demand for home-grown produce and healthy eating.
